International collaborations

The University of Pavia has been a pioneer in initiating internationalization processes within its academic system, both by guaranteeing numerous opportunities for its students through international mobility programs and by creating environments conducive to research activities, attracting scholars from all over the world.

At the University level, an extensive network of international collaborations is active, involving around 500 universities and research institutions worldwide. At the Department level and, more specifically, within the MEGI Degree Program, the international opportunities offered to students include:

Erasmus

The program offers students the opportunity to spend a study period (minimum 3 months and maximum 12 months) at a European university. During their stay abroad, students can attend courses, take exams to obtain the corresponding ECTS credits, and also start working on their final thesis through collaboration with faculty, case study analyses, data collection, or empirical research.
For detailed information about calls for applications, destinations, requirements, and administrative procedures, please refer to the Erasmus page on the University of Pavia website and the International Activities page on the Department website.

Erasmus Traineeship

As part of the new Erasmus+ program, the Erasmus Traineeship action allows students and recent graduates (within 12 months of graduation) to undertake an internship in one of the 28 EU countries, lasting between 2 and 12 months, with a monthly scholarship based on the destination country.

Double Degree

Through bilateral agreements signed between the University of Pavia and partner universities abroad, students who, after a selection process based on qualifications and examination, are admitted to the double degree program will, at the end of their studies, obtain both the Master's Degree in Business Management and the equivalent degree awarded by the partner university.

The double degree programs available to MEGI students for the current academic year are with:

  • Université de Strasbourg – EM Strasbourg Business School (France)
  • The Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen (Germany)
  • ESC Clermont – Graduate School of Management (France)

Internships and Jobs Abroad (C.O.R. Service)

This service, offered by the C.O.R. (University Guidance Centre) to students and graduates of the University of Pavia, is aimed at those interested in undertaking an internship or work experience abroad outside of official international mobility programs. The goal is to complement ongoing initiatives and enhance international recruitment channels. Students can access internship and job postings abroad and all the online tools available for finding international opportunities.

For any information about existing international partnerships and the services offered by the University to support student mobility, students are encouraged to consult the Studying Abroad page on the University's website.
