Build the skills for your tomorrow!

The Degree Program has been designed for all those who have decided to invest in their education, who want to become entrepreneurs of themselves in order to respond to the need for professionalism, competence, flexibility, leadership, and teamwork skills that the economic and productive system requires.

Those who choose to enrol in MEGI will be challenged with multiple disciplinary areas, from law to economics, from management to finance, from sociology to ICT, from marketing to human resources. Today, a manager, as well as an entrepreneur, must be able to interact with a variety of functional areas and know the language of each one in order to dialogue with professionals who are often very different from one another. Interdisciplinary training is essential in today’s contexts, and it is with these goals in mind that the degree program has been designed.

The course is structured into two learning tracks, each aimed at developing specific skills in distinct yet complementary fields. It includes core courses and is completed with elective courses that allow students to customize their study plan, supporting a specialization consistent with their professional interests.

Study in a Campus City

Pavia offers the opportunity to study and live in a Campus City, enriched by participating in cultural initiatives and by interacting with scholars and students from many faculties. It is a city tailored for studying, within the University buildings, the Colleges, and everyday life. Learn more about the history and services offered by UNIPV here

How is the degree program structured?

Thanks to the experience gained over the years, and through constant dialogue with the economic and productive system and the consulting world, the study plan and the syllabi of the various courses are regularly updated to ensure that the educational offering is as aligned as possible with labor market expectations.

The job market values interdisciplinary training, a variety of interests, and the ability to build relationships acquired by those who invest in their education. Almost 90% of graduates are employed within one year of graduation, and the percentage of graduates continuing the work activity started before graduation is steadily increasing.

One of the opportunities offered to MEGI students is the chance to include an internship in their study plan. In addition to traditional lectures, students are involved in a variety of activities requiring different levels of engagement: from guided exercises to the preparation of reports, from participation in seminars and workshops to classroom presentations of projects developed with their team.

There are many opportunities to apply in practice what is learned in class and to assess the operational interdependence between different disciplinary areas, thus supporting students throughout their learning and growth journey.

Will I have opportunities to connect with businesses?

Over the years, relationships with the business world have grown significantly, as have opportunities to meet representatives from the entrepreneurial and consulting fields. In addition to the various collaborations initiated by the Degree Program, there are numerous initiatives promoted by the University to guide and support entry into the job market, which the Degree Program adheres to.

Among the many opportunities are career orientation activities organized by the University Orientation Center (C.OR.)for students, graduates-to-be, and alumni, including Career Day, CV check, Job placement, and the Career Management Skills program.

In addition, there are international exchange programs, internships included in the study plan, and thesis projects carried out in collaboration with partner companies. These initiatives give MEGI students the opportunity to build, customize, and enrich their CV, preparing them to face future challenges, seize every opportunity, and highlight their strengths.

Where are classes taking place?

The Degree Program is based at Palazzo San Felice, which houses classrooms and faculty offices. Palazzo San Felice is a former Benedictine convent for women, founded during the Lombard period. The convent was suppressed in 1785, and after its closure, the Austrian government commissioned architect Leopoldo Pollack to draw up a plan to convert the complex into an orphanage.

In the 1950s, the monastic complex was handed over to the University and currently hosts the Departments of Philosophy, Psychology, and the Department of Economics and Business Studies at the University of Pavia, under the name of Palazzo San Felice.
